The store will soon be receiving a small number of copies of 20:20 CANTATA ARIOSA, a new CDEP on Italian label AIKA. The Italian release date is 10.10.2020, with the Soisong store getting its copies a little later. The new record is fairly dark, centered around the sounds of breathing and guitar, and somewhat follows the aesthetics of the recent MUSIC VO, perhaps in a more contemporary vein. The press-release goes as follows:

20:20 CANTATA ARIOSA was recorded during the first half of 2020 as a response to the wave of a respiratory illness spreading over Europe. In several movements the piece evolves around the notion of AIR, both a substance of breathing and a quality of emptiness. The release on Aika is a dedication to Italy, the first European victim of the disease.
