During the 2009 REUNION TOUR, the roles in Soisong performances have been distinctly divided between Sleazy, now entirely focussing on the live video mixing, and Ivan doing all the sound. The band was slowly entering its next phase, soon outlined as SOISONG SPLIT 2010, following the previous TEST RUN 2008 and REUNION 2009. The intention was to formulate the vision of Soisong's future sound independently from each other, and to find new angles of viewing the very first studio material recorded in Bangkok in 2007. Up until the REUNION TOUR the recording was considered "too strange for Soisong". As part of SOISONG SPLIT strategy, we also intended to release two EPs under our own names, both titled SOISONG.

Early in 2010 we received an invitation for Soisong to perform at CTM Festival in Berlin. Around the time Sleazy's health started to show the first signs of decline, and he was recommended to temporarily refrain from long flights. We decided for him to stay home in Bangkok, and for the CTM show to follow the SPLIT strategy - Peter improvised a video recording basing on a live-in-a-studio session. The video recording was screened during the concert. Sleazy also produced an amusing video introduction to the show, known as LAST NIGHT IN BANGKOK, which was shown to the puzzled audience before what turned out to be the last Soisong concert.

This short film can now be found in the updated Soisong website [please note the new location: www.soisong.org]. The audio recording of The Last Show is available from the Soisong store  from 21.07.2021, in an ORANGE octagonal package [see https://soisong.greedbag.com/]. Together with the previous release of Live in Rovereto, SOISONG BLUE and SOISONG ORANGE are the only two live recordings that will be officially published by Soisong - we believe they sufficiently represent and expand the aesthetics of respective studio works released earlier.

PS: Having [belatedly] realised the impact Brexit made on the import of records from the UK, we have lowered the price of the release - the ORANGE CD sells at £16. To be fair to those who earlier purchased the BLUE CD, its price remains unchanged. For everyone who have not yet invested into Soisong live recordings, we have combined the two into a package that retails at £36.
